New things happening at Spicewood VFD-EMS

We would like to thank Stokes Signs in Lakeway and Dennis Levlon, our President and Captain, for designing and organizing our new sign! It is such an great improvement to our facility.

A few of our devoted guys drove to Georgetown and traded trucks with another fire department from up north. We  are now the proud owners of  a 1990 BMY that will be used for brush fires and swift water rescues. Keep a look out as we upgrade and put it in service

    How we support first responders

The Hill Country 100 Club is an all-volunteer organization which supports first-responder families, bringing hope to where tragedy exists.

The 100 Club is usually the first organization to provide financial aid of $20,000 to the family of a first responder who is killed in the line of duty.

The 100 Club provides financial support within 24-48-hours, and ongoing support as needed.

We recognize and honor first responders who have been nominated by their organizations at our annual meeting/banquet.

On January 17, 2019 Joe Ribble and Lark Camacho received awards at the yearly banquet

Speaking of in service check out our 1967 Jeep Kaiser that made it home from being refurbished. 5651 was sent out a few months ago to be completely gone over, painted and a new skid unit installed, It is now ready to fight fire. Again thank you to our Captain Dennis Levlon and Don Conley for getting 5651 the TLC it deserves.
